In 2007, at the age of 38 Jo Mohan graduated with an HND in Graphic Design at Stockport College. Her college years were made a little more difficult than her fellow "younger" students in that for the first year she was pregnant and the second year, had a new born daughter to care for. Since returning to work after having her daughter Poppy, she has worked as a Graphic Designer / Marketing Specialist in the manufacturing sector. Her main challenge in this role is trying to make industrial tape look interesting. She specialises in preparing artwork for printing but also has a passion for creating fun colourful graphics.
Jo joined Carrot Productions in 2013, producing all of their promotional literature and most recently, this website! In 2014 and 2015, Jo produced the winning Christmas tree design for Carrot Productions at Chester Cathedral's Christmas Tree Festival, beating over 40 other designs submitted by large organisations such as John Lewis, Chester Race Course and Chester F.C. Carrot's tree gained 40% of all of the votes made by the general public visiting the cathedral.
When Jo hasn't got her head in her Creative Cloud, she enjoys walking in the hills around Glossop, reading, making soft toys, needle and wet felting and producing textile art. She is also partial to the odd glass of wine and a G&T or two.
